Easy read of the poem in the image above:

Visions

Our eyes alight eagerly,
even greedily,
on the pleasing, the easy:
the Purple Crocus announcing early spring,
the Pink-frosted Cupcake celebrating the day,
the Wide-eyed Newborn blinking in the light.
These we desire…we seek…we share.

Our eyes avert hastily,
even desperately,
from the deteriorating, the difficult:
the Water-stained Ceiling never repaired,
the Dust-covered Piano ever silent,
the Feeble-bodied Human seated
at the dinner table
whose hands shake,
whose mind fades.
These we dread...we fear…we bear.
