Erin Bryant Petty

Having spent most of my life trying to distance myself from my body as much as possible, I’m exploring how to become one with it again.

These are temporary compositions that, like bodies, take up space and are subject to change. Domestic objects—curtains, pillows, furniture—act as a backdrop to represent natural surroundings, bringing together the two places where I feel most at home in my body: in the curated comfort of my house and in the vast and stunning wilderness.
