DISCLAIMER: This work mimics what a panic attack feels like and the thoughts behind such an attack, so read at your own discretion!!

i can’t
no air
chest hurts
why me?

i can’t
help it.
loud thoughts
no time

i can’t
breathing, right!
gotta breathe...
just inhale

i can’t
chest hurts
just breathe
please...

i can’t
all of this
just
needs to

stop.

My only companion
is the one whose company you fear.

The one and only companion
who you'd rather not hear.

But they've been with me
even when I wished to be dead.

In fact, the only one
who's been with me when I've bled.

We mostly cry together
but, there are happy moments too!

Together forever,
when away you flew

You've always hated them
never even glanced their way

Tell you what though,
I'd be with them any day.
