When I found Corporeal I just had to dive in. The pieces featured show love and adoration for themselves; and if applicable, each other. Even as small as a patch of a song from a sapphic musician, to a fantasy afro-Indigenous native who expresses through combat and dancing, a story foretold in how one finds love in the little things, and yet, finds the creative freedom to empower

Sam Wise (they/them) is Black, nonbinary spoonie, who dabbles in Character Design and 2D

Illustration, and recently writing. They create the content that they would love to see in today’s

media, emotionally-intelligent and personally impactful, while showing their truth. Many of their

characters are neurodivergent, physically or mentally disabled, or marginalized in some way.

Their hope is that disabilities and other marginalized communities will be seen and accepted

as— and loved for— the people they are, rather hated and feared. Sam Wise can be reached
